Tour of The Old Jail Art Center

Thirty-five Chinese terra-cotta tomb figures which date from the early Han Dynasty to the T'ang Dynasty are the highlight of the museum's collection.
The upstairs cell of the original old jail originally housed more dangerous criminals.  On display in this photograph is part of the cross collection.
The W.O. Gross, Jr. collection of pre-Columbian art is an extensive collection of earthenware vessels, votive figurines and tomb pottery from numerous pre-Columbian cultures.
The Jones gallery is used for touring exhibitions.  On display in this photograph are Venetian paintings.  In the Spring of 2004 the gallery will feature Selections from the Barrett Collection of Texas Art.
The Reilly Nail Gallery is dedicated to works on paper, a particular strength of the Old Jail Art Center's permanent collection.

The Stasney Center for Education enables the OJAC to offer educational programming unprecedented in quality and quantity.
