Green Art Research Library

The Green Art Research Library is non-circulating and holds over 2,500 volumes of art history, art criticism, artist biographies, as well as current and back issues of art, historical, and cultural periodicals and videos.

The Green art Research Library is open to the public during regular museum hours.

Researchers and curators needing specialized attention should contact the museum at (325) 762-2269 or e-mail the archivist/librarian to schedule an appointment.

The former Atrium Gallery has been taken into the Green Art Research Library to become a periodical room and e-lounge, furnished with computers and comfy chairs, with the hope that young people, especially, will enjoy settling in to learn more about art electronically - or the old fashioned way, from books and magazines.

 

 

Visitors are able to read, research, relax, and browse our periodicals and web-based interactive programming.
